A Great Fall Layout

Hello there and thanks for stopping by. Here is a Fall layout that I would like to share with you. The ladies created this page at my class in Oct. It's a really fun layout to make. All products are from Fun Stampers Journey.
We used the Autumn Days Bundle Stamp and Die Set and stamped random leaves in Oatmeal Cookie ink onto the Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock to create our own background. Then used the die to cut out several leaves. We used a variety of of True Color Fusion Inks to sponge fall colors onto the leaves, then crinkled and shaped them for a more natural falling look. Then sprayed them with a 50/50 mixture of Journey Glaze and water. Let them dry and waa lah.. Gorgeous!
I hope you enjoy recreating this for your scrapbook and Happy Stampin'.

Christmas in July!

Hi there,
Here I am again! I want to share with you some of the projects that we created at my monthly Scrap'N Card Class.

Tuesday, July 28, 2015

 Hello there,
Gosh, It's been forever since I have posted anything. I better get on the stick.
Today, I'd like to share with a couple of pictures of a mini album that I made for a swap in a Facebook Group. This album was made from...Can you guess?...   ENVELOPES!  Yes, envelopes. I had so much fun creating this album. It has so much room for photos and journaling, you just wouldn't believe. I really wish I had taken more pictures. I am so proud of the way it turned out. I just hope that my swap partner enjoys it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
It has a chipboard cover and was loaded with pages, tags, photo mats and places to journal.

My handmade Tote Bag

Hi there,
Here is a tote bag I just finished. I wanted something to carry my Stampin' UP catalogs in and fell in love with this old key fabric when I saw it. I couldn't resist buying it. I am really happy with the way it turned out. I put a pocket on the outside front and 3 pockets on the inside to hold the mini's and ink pens.
Hope you like it..

It would also make a great bag to carry my genealogy stuff in!

Scrap 'N Card Class

Hi there,  Gosh, I feel so bad because I have neglected this blog really, really bad. I must make myself do better and make more time for this blogging. I am taking the time thought to post some pictures from today's Scrap 'N Card Class. The layout today is for Fall! I love fall! Out of my group of friends and family (their all family), some prefer to create a one page layout and some prefer to create cards. SO.....I let them choose and set up tables and hold both at the same time.. Yep, sometimes it gets a little hairy trying to keep up with both groups but I love it and I love them all.

The cards I cased from pinterest and the layout I made up myself. The Birthday Card is created from Basic Black and Whisper White CS and Back to Black DSP using the World of Dreams and Teeny Tiny Wishes stampsets. The Christmas Card is created using Basic Grey and Blackberry Bliss CS (I love the color combo) and Silver Glimmer Paper with white embossing and the Bright & Beautiful stamp set. We also used the Circle Framelits and Star Framelits. Everything used is from Stampin' UP.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the weekly deals at

Happy Stampin' and Happy Fall!

Going way back:

Hi there,
I've been going through some old pictures and came across these old ones of my Mom in her cow milking days. On this particular day, we either were getting ready to go to church or had just gotten home.

Can you tell that these pictures are from the early 70's....Oh my gosh, cameras have come a long way, haven't they? Anyway as I walked up to take pictures of her, she tried to squirt me with "Spots" milk.

We used to have to skim the cream off the milk, put it in a jar and sit and shake the dickens out of it until it turned into butter. Wow! THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!

Dryer Sheet Cards

Hi Stampers,
I am so sorry that I have neglected my blog for so long. It is a cold snowy day here today so I thought it would be a good time to show you the cards and scrapbook layout that we created at my last stamp class. I had some women that wanted to do the dryer sheet technique on cards, so I gave them their choice of the cards or layout. Both used the dryer sheet and everyone had a good time. (At least they seemed to enjoy it) LOL...I had a great time. But anyway, here are the two cards that they made.

The top 2 photos show the winter birthday card. I am trying to show off the glitter in the second photo. The photo doesn't do the card justice. Believe me, I am so not a photographer. For this card, we used Whisper White Card Stock #100730, Indigo Island CS #122923, Lovely As A Tree Stamp set W#128655 C#127793 and Sassy Salutations Stamp set W#132070 C#126707, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter # 102023, Early Expresso Ink Pad #126974 & Bakers twine #123124, Anywhere Glue Stick # 104045, Marina Mist Ink Pad #126962, a Stamping Sponge # 101610 and a Used Dryer Sheet.
For this Valentine Card, we used Whisper White CS # 100730, Cherry Cobbler CS # 119685, Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder # 116824, Used Dryer Sheet, Anywhere Glue Stick #104045, Staz On Jet Black Stamp pad # 101406, Cherry Cobbler Marker #119681, Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad # 126966, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine #123125, Countless Sayings 1 Photopolymer Stamp Set #135892 and Banner Blast Stamp Set W#133551 C#133554 and Banner Punch # 133519.
The Banner Blast Stamp Set and Banner Punch can be yours for FREE with your order of $50 in product during Sale-A-Bration.
Now! for the layout! I won't go into alot of detail because some of the things we used are retired. But I wanted to show you the layout as I think it turned out really cute and is so fitting for all the snow we have right now... (I am so sick of winter at this point)
The top photo is the layout inside the Stampin' Up Page Protector and the next photo is out of the protector.

We used Silver Glimmer Paper #124005 for some of the snowflakes and the Bigz Snow Flurry Die (retired). In the center we used a Basic Jewel Rhinestone #119246. We also used the Perfect Polka Dot E.F. #117335 (embossing the dryer sheet onto the snowman)
This last photo is to show you the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the embossed-dryer sheet snowman.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this super long post and if you would like to purchase any of the product that we used, Please visit my Stampin' UP Online Store at Thank you so much for stopping by and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
